Daily Background Job
Validation re-runs automatically every 24 hours while this app is open. Last run and next run are persisted across reloads. New 404s since the previous run surface as alerts and a toast notification.
Note: scheduling runs in-browser. Keep this tab open (or reopen it) for the daily check to fire. A missed run executes on next page load.

Note: browsers block cross-origin status reads on most public sites. External URLs that don't expose CORS are reported as OPAQUE — reachable, but exact status is hidden. Internal routes always report real status & redirect targets.
